AAK candidate for head of Pristina Arber Vladhiu, who ranked 5th in the local elections held Sunday in Kosovo, has thanked his voters, saying he respects the citizens' verdict.
Vladiu has added that he will continue his contribution to Pristina and the prospect of this city.
Vladiu's words:
I have much to say and much to tell from the stories of every citizen I've met and from the areas I've visited. And I am very honored to have encountered the great and extraordinary expectation of the good people of Pristina, throughout its territory. I am eternally honored with the vote of the citizen of Pristina, his faith in me and the project I represented. Thank you. Vote is not just a number, though it represents a success and strength, but it is more than that. I respect the citizenship verdict and his vote. I assure you that I will be with you every day, with my city and the state of Kosovo for its own good and its future with prospects. In Pristina, much must be carefully assessed, with reflection and self-critics. I have been honoured to be the candidate for mayor of Pristina by my subject representing AAK and its head, and most of all, for the faith given to me in a race that is so difficult and strong. For the most dignified Pristina and its citizen!
