Apostolova: We want to see people end up in prison because of corruption.

European Union Office chief Natalia Apostolova met with representatives of the Democratic League of Kosovo parliamentary group, where the discussion was continuing to implement European agenda reforms, visa liberalisation issue, fighting corruption, and dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. Apostolova at this meeting expressed disappointment [...]
Apostolova at this meeting expressed her dissatisfaction with the work of the Kosovo Assembly, which, according to her, has done so far is establish these commissions. While in terms of criteria for visa liberalisation, Apostolova said this issue has been politicised and more must be done in combating crime and corruption, as the EU expects judicial processes for fighting corruption to end with bias.
No one has said that the criterion has been finalised. With the work you're going to do in fulfilling these criteria we're going to get and present to member states. This process has to be fulfilled and we don't want to blame anyone. We want to see the processes go to the end, we want to see people end up in prison because of corruption and participation in organised crime”, Apostolova said.
