Three American physicists have won the Nobel Prize for physics, following their findings about gravitational waves and the wave of space material that were first distinguished by Albert Einstein a century ago.
Rainer Weiss has been honoured with part of the award announced by the Swedish Royal Academy of Science in Stockholm during the day. Kip Thorne and Barry Barish share the other half of that price, broadcast KTV.
All three of these scientists have played an important role in the Gavitation Waves Observatory at the Laser Interferometry, or as Ligo experiment, which made the first historical surveillance of the gravitational waves in September 2015
