Approximately, one out of six Albanians has a loan in one of the country's commercial banks.
At least this conclusion arrives at the International Monetary Fund, which has just released a survey of financial access 2017, which is one of the most accurate and detailed funding mechanisms, in terms of access of people in the financial sector in each of the world's 180 different economies.
The Indicator measuring the number of borrowers per 1000 residents, for Albania, is fixed to 157.8 for 2016, and a significant increase compared to the previous year, when it was fixed to only 146.94 creditors per 1,000 inhabitants, which is translated into 1 out of 7 Albanians, roughly.
International monetary fund data for this indicator has been around for years, and presents a very interesting situation.
It turns out that, in 2005, so 12 years ago, only 1 in 31 Albanians had a loan.
In addition to 2009, 2013 and 2015, in all other years, the indicator has undergone significant increases compared to the previous year.
Data released by the international monetary fund argues in numbers the growing need for financing, the ease of lending by commercial banks over the years, however, is about a short period of time, about a decade, and the development of the Albanian economy, especially that of the family during this period of time. / Day-
