The rally was held tonight with residents of Kolovica and Vestes, where candidates for the Municipal Assembly were introduced before hundreds of citizens, as well as the mayor of the Shpend Ahmeti municipality and the chairman of the Vetevendosje Movement Centre in Pristina, Ylli Hoxha.
President Shpend Ahmeti stressed that in the next mandate the focus will be on neighbourhood projects, so that each citizen will feel equal in the services the municipality offers him.
From your initial discussions, we have your neighborhood priorities. 100 of our vows, are pledges made in direct cooperation with citizens. These vows produce equality. Today we introduced the new bus lines, which are the comprehensive line. With our pledges, we will make Pristina clean and developed, in each neighbourhood and in each village”, Ahmeti said, among other things.
In his case speech, the chairman of the Vetevendosje Centre in Pristina, Ylli Hoxha, said Mayor Ahmeti has found a municipality of many problems, and for those four years amid many confrontations has stabilised the municipality. We built the operating system, and it's become an example for all other municipalities. This is done with stable, uncorrupted people, as has our executive in Pristina. We turned our vows into everyday jobs, and the results are already visible. Now we have 100 pledges that require a lot of work and a lot of commitment. That's why we need most of the Communist Assembly to facilitate our executive”, said Star Hoxha.
