In an interview given to the newspaper “The new era”, he has said that the good work he has done during this government mandate we are leaving, and the confidence he has established in the citizens of Mitrovica will ensure victory in the first round. Bahtiri has said PDK's efforts to return power to this city are in vain.
According to him, the PDK candidate for mayor does not have the capacity to lead Mitrovica, while for the candidate of the Vetevendosje Movement, says it is not strengthening well. Bahtiri has stressed that 65 percent of the Vetevendosje Movement electorate want it for mayor.
