At least 13 police officers have died during a Taliban attack in Afghanistan.
Officials have announced that armed rebels attacked the police commissioner on Sunday (October 29th) morning at the Khan Abad district of the troubled province of Kunduz.
14 police officers were guarding the police station when the attack occurred, but one of the officers managed to leave. The Taliban took up weapons, ammunition, and an armoured military vehicle.
Today's attack came a day after Afghan officials confirmed that the rebels had killed at least nine police officers in the eastern province of Ghazni.
