(an hour ago)President Donald Trump has said the United States has agreed to continue talks with Iran, but he also reiterated that Washington has informed Tehran that the ceasefire is no longer in force.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has asked us to continue conversations. We've agreed to do this”, Trump wrote in a post on Social Truth.
But the United States has announced them, no doubt, that the truce is over!”, the president added.
The U.S. repeatedly attacked Iran this week after Tehran targeted several ships in the Hormuz Strait. But Trump did not order additional attacks Thursday.
