Poland captures three Russian combat aircraft off the coast of Baltic

Polish combat planes have been intercepting two other Russian warplanes and a discovery plane off the coast of Baltic, Poland's defence minister said on Thursday.
The incident marks the third day in a row that Russian military planes have been escorted away from Poland's maritime borders.
“Russians are again testing the capabilities of our air defence systems”, wrote Defence Minister Władysław Cosineak-Kaysz on platform X on Thursday afternoon.
He said that after Polish warplanes rose into the air because of the presence of two Russian fighter Su-30 jets over the Baltic Sea, they were directed to an IL-20km exploration plane off the coast.
As in the previous two incidents Tuesday and Wednesday, Russian planes did not breach Polish airspace, the minister said.
