(an hour ago)Iran's top military headquarters, “Khatam al-Anbiya”, has stated it will not allow the United States to interfere in the management of Hormuz Strait.
In a statement published by Iranian news agency “Tasnim”, the Iranian Army has said that the US “irresponsibly irresponsible actions in this strait have seriously jeopardised the region's security.
Iran has stressed that it will not allow the US to take control of this important waterway, adding that its armed forces are facing any threat from what it called the “the US bandit army”, writes BBCPeriscope broadcast.
According to the statement, any co-operation with the US will be considered an act of <x0ft” to Iran's sovereignty. Tehran has also warned that if the conflict widens, the “war flames will include all countries in the region”.
Iran's statement comes after US President Donald Trump said earlier that the US “is taking control of the Strait”./ Periscope.
