Istog municipality concerned about closing “Vita” : heavy shock to economy, workers and farmers

The Istog municipality has reacted to the closing of the milk canal “Vita”.
Through a Facebook post, the official municipality website wrote that developments have sparked concern in the Istog municipality by directly affecting local farmers, hundreds of workers, and the entire chain of milk production.
Istog Mayor Ilir Ferati expresses his deep concern about the way and the consequences of this action, which has reportedly created great uncertainty for the farmers and workers in the municipality.
The farm has called for the immediate opening of the milk station so that farmers, workers and the local economy are not harmed.
The Istog municipality will stand firm in defense of farmers, workers and local production, as one of the main pillars of our municipality's economic development”, said in response.
We remember that the X-ray “Vita” has been closed, following the decision made by the company itself after the inspection was warned by Agriculture Minister Armendi Muja, while 25 inspectors have gone for an inspection of the milk.
Immediate reactions have also come from the Kosovo Business League and political figures like Ramush Haradinaj and Ardian Djind.
