Alabama believes Austria may surprise Spain

Austria's captain, David Alabama, believes his national has the potential to surprise Spain in the 1/16th phase match at the World Cup, even though there will be one of the strongest tour teams in the face.
In an interview for “M ARCA”, prior to the preliminary duel, former Real Madrid defender acknowledged that Spain is an extremely qualitative opponent and among the favourites to win the trophy. However, he stressed that Austria would descend into the field with confidence and convinced it could make a big presentation.
“Spain is one of the best nationals in the world, and obviously one of the top contenders for the title,” said Alabama.
We are aware that a very strong challenge awaits us and that we must give our maximum, but football always leaves room for surprise. ”
Alabama, who spent five seasons with Real Madrid's fan, said this challenge has special meaning for him, as they link numerous memories with Spanish football and with the players he has played against for years in La League.
He added that coaches will prepare the team in the best possible way and that he is ready to contribute with his experience whenever the team needs it.
Austria secured the transition to the preliminary phase directly after convincing presentations in groups, while now aims to continue its journey and achieve a historic one-eightth World Cup final, something it has not accomplished for many years.
