Special Court spokeswoman Angela Greep, through a video update published on the court's page at “X” has talked about jurisdiction covering the Special Court.
Greep has said The Hague-based Specialised Chambers have an exclusive mandate to deal with any crime that occurred during the recent war in Kosovo, adding that some of the crimes have been tried by the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia and some others by other courts.
She has added that the Court has been given specific mandate from the state of Kosovo and the EU.
For any accusation confirmed, the court will ensure impartial, fair and independent judgment, where the accused will have their rights, witnesses will be protected and victims will say their words”, Greep said.
