(15 days ago)Party MP Fatos Geci has found no support in his hometown of Skenderaj, where he has received only 62 votes so far.
This result apparently results from “punishing” by citizens following his scandalous statements about former Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, who is in custody in The Hague.
The candidate for MP from the VV list, during a session in the Parliament, had Declared: that former President Hashim Thaci would have the same fate as Naim Mursel, sentenced to life imprisonment.
Geci strengthened this position even after Thaci's interview with Blendi Fevziu.
As the media quoted Thaci as saying that “My mouth is shut, and my hands are bound to write.“, Geci had left a direct comment: “Well prepared that now on May 19 you connect for the rest of your life”
Meanwhile, total to these moments according to the CEC, Geci has managed to garner a total of 1,000 and 407 votes.
