Four months in prison condition for accused who ran into journalist Ardit Kika

The Constitutional Court in Pristina has sentenced four months in prison on bail, with a one-year verifiable period, as well as a six-month ban on access to social media ão Agron Kicykun, due to the row against journalist Ardit Kika.

The announcement of the act was made by Judge Driton Berisha.

Prior to declaring the sentence, Kicyk pleaded guilty after reading the indictment by state prosecutor Arta Cukaj.

Kicyku's defender, Bedri Abdullahu, said in advance that the court, on the occasion of the type and the height of the sentence, will consider admitting guilt, expressing regret and family circumstances.

On the other hand, the injured Kika said the court should be aware that the accused has not yet erased the comment that is considered canonous, what the accused said happens because he cannot find the page to erase.

According to the prosecution, at 22.01.2026, around 22:00 in Pristina, defendant Agron Kychyku seriously took down journalist Ardit Kika of the company “Koha” at KTV, with the intent of intimidation, so that via Facebook, he wrote the words: “kta stopped liquidation in the name of the people, enough of the mo, you behind the fresh graves of war, imagine these guys working for the Russian side, America is arming us with as soon as possible members of our NATO media take what's deforms, and what's affected the faces of the police, what's left by the APPHOCHD's fear is.
