KSF Commander Meets Ayva National Guard Official

In the course of co-operation, the commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Lieutenant General Union Jashari, has hosted a meeting of Deputy Adjutantin and head of the Air Guard of the National Guard of Aiva, Brigadier General Mark A. Muckey, and his staff.
Initially, General Jashari thanked General Muckey for the continued support of the National Guard of Arava in developing and building the capacities of the Kosovo Security Force, calling it success success of this type.
Also, Jashari briefed him on current developments in the KSF and on the important role in ensuring security in the country, stressing its significant contribution to maintaining regional stability.
On the other hand, Muckey praised Yasar for his leadership and the current achievements of the KSF, as well as opportunities of co-operation and support of the GKA Air Force, in the process of developing air space protection.
During the meeting, the two generals praised the considerable progress achieved by the KSF in developing, modernising and advancing its operational capacities.
They also expressed high appreciation for the professionalism, performance and high level of personnel interoperability within joint activities and exercises.
In conclusion of the meeting, generals reaffirmed their commitment to advancing and deepening further co-operation between the Kosovo Security Force and the National Guard of Aiva, naming it as a partnership of particular strategic importance.
In this context, strengthening the defence capacities of the Republic of Kosovo was assessed as a key factor for ensuring security, stability and lasting peace in the region. /Periscope
