Kosovo Police Trained by KFOR for First Emergency Assistance

Kosovo police have participated in a training for first emergency assistance, led by KFOR, North Mitrovica.
Training focused on life - saving techniques, including the appreciation of the injured, respiratory management, and evacuation of the injured, strengthening the reactionors' ability to provide immediate care in critical situations.

Kosovo Police officials took part in a training for the first emergency assistance, led by soldiers assigned to Regional Command (RC-E), part of the NATO-led mission Kosovo Force (KFOR), at the Police Station in Northern Mitrovica.
Training focused on life - saving techniques, including the appreciation of the injured, respiratory management, and evacuation of the injured, strengthening the reactionors' ability to provide immediate care in critical situations.
Such activities reflect KFOR's continued commitment to local security reactions, supporting professional development and increasing operational effectiveness in service to all people living in Kosovo.
KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo, as well as to guarantee freedom of movement at any time and impartially. KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission for Law Rule in Kosovo (EULEX), in their respective roles as security responders.
