Kosovo customs marks 3 thousand of China's 400 counterfeit fillers

Kosovo's customs has banned a total of 3,480 suspected telephone accessors as products that violate intellectual property rights, within the framework of market protection controls and fighting counterfeit goods.
According to Dogan's announcement, the case has been recorded at the Customs Terminal in Vremica, during the search of a shipment originating from China, submitted for follow-up.
After reevaluating the shipment and physical control carried out by customs officials, goods for which there is doubt that they violate intellectual property rights” have been identified during the examination, the announcement said.
In total, 3,480 pieces of filling heads for mobile phones with Apple's inside are detained, allegedly violating the protected brand.
“In line with legal procedures for the protection of intellectual property rights, Kosovo Customs has taken necessary measures to prevent goods and announce relevant parties for verifying the authenticity of products”, it is further said.
Kosovo customs has stressed that it remains committed to fighting counterfeit goods trade and protecting legitimate consumers and businesses in the country.
