KEK: Tonight at midnight stops A4 and TC Kosova A unit, a regular annual “remont”

The Kosovo Energy Corporation has announced an annual <x0mont” in the A4 unit of the Kosova A thermal power plant that will begin tonight at midnight.
KEK announced that this unit would undergo “remont regular annual” under the planned “management and preparation of generation capacities for periods when demand for electricity marks growth, as well as in line with the Annual Electricity Balance (BVEE)”.
For this purpose, the professional and technical teams of TC Kosova A have completed all necessary preparations, while tonight, starting at 00:00 a.m., the unit will stop in a planned and controlled manner, in line with technical and operational security standards”, the report said.
The “Right after establishing technical conditions on the ground and completing the necessary security procedures, annual remont activities will begin, aimed at inspection, repair and sanctioning key equipment, increasing operational credibility, improving technical performance, and ensuring the entity's sustainable operation during the next one-year work cycle”, the ECK's announcement is said to be further.
The A4 unit's annual referendum, according to KEK “, represents one of the most important activities of planned maintenance at the Kosova A thermal power plant and is part of KEK's continued commitment to the safety of operations, increased availability of generation capacities and ensuring sustainable electricity production for the country”.
Between these preventive and corrective interventions, the unit is intended to operate safely, stable and efficient until the next annual remont.
