Kallas: Leaders in Kosovo now commit to rapid government formation, essential normalisation of relations with Serbia

European Union for Foreign Policy and Security Senior Representative Kaya Kallas said that yesterday's parliamentary elections in Kosovo open the door to exit the blockade that conveyed the country after more than a year.
Kallas wrote in an X post that the <x0 democratic and inclusive elections in Kosovo open the door to turning the page after more than a year's political blockade”.
Political “Liders must now engage constructively to ensure the rapid formation of the government”, she said.
The chief of EU diplomacy also cited dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, calling normalisation of relations between countries as essential to Kosovo's moving ahead on the path to integration.
