Painful: Illusioned by Life, veteran carrying arms for KLA needs

The president of Rahovec, Smajl Latifi.v, has expressed grief over his death.

Through a Facebook post, Latifi said Ramdan Zymeriaj made a valuable contribution to the freedom struggle, participating in carrying arms from Albania to the needs of the KLA.

“In September 1998, he was arrested in the mountains of his village, dressed in the KLA uniform, while his son Blerim was arrested along with him. During his stay in the Dubrava prison, he experienced the massacre where he was severely injured on both legs, being disabled of the war.

Today, we were separated by a freedom fighter, an honest man, and an exemplary parent who gave birth to eight boys and three girls. The Zymeraj family, his fellow warriors, friends, and relatives, expressed their sincere condolences! May the memory of Ramadan baca be forgotten!”, he wrote.
