Hamza presents the health plan: Health insurance, free medicine and new Regional Hospital in Pristina

Chairman and prime minister candidate The PDK, Bedri Hamza, has unveiled the third pledge of its governing programme, which focuses on reforming the health system and improving citizens' access to quality medical services.
At a media conference, Hamza said that during meetings with citizens across the country, he has heard numerous concerns about the situation in the health sector, delays in receiving services and high treatment costs.
“A pensioner wonders whether he will buy medicine with sufficient doses or pay the power bill. A parent waits months for an expert term. A patient is forced to seek treatment abroad because he cannot be found here. That's not normal. And that has to change. So today I have the pleasure of introducing our third vow: Quality health, with faster and more accessible services for everyone. Because health is not a privilege. That's right. And because a state is measured not by the promises it makes, but by the care it shows its citizens when they most need”, Hamza said.
Leader of The PDK pledged that its government will implement health insurance, provide regular supplies with essential drugs and free medicines for chronic patients, create the National Medical Emergency Centre, modernise the KKUK, and build the Pristina Regional Hospital.
We will implement the National Cancer Programme, with early diagnosis, crime and treatment according to European standards. We will draw health to citizens through mobile medicine, especially in rural and remote areas. We will create modern rehabilitation centres and specialized care for patients who need long-term treatment. We will establish the National Center for Poverty Treatment to help people and families who face this problem today. We will support local pharmaceutical production, for more security in supply and more jobs. We will digitize the health system, with electronic files, online terms and faster services for citizens”, Hamza added.
Header The PDK invited citizens to vote on June 7th to number 125 to say STOP crisis in every sector.
“Health is not an expense. Health is investment. Invest in people's lives. Invest in dignity. Investing in Kosovo's future. Because, as I would like to say: health, above all, is also an economy. Because a healthy people are a healthy economy. On June 7th, together we will say STOP crisis. And together we will change Kosovo”, Hamza said.
