GLPS: Kosovo risks irreversible financial losses from delays in implementation of the Growth Plan

Kosovo risks eventually losing 90.6m euros from the European Union's Growth Plan, due to delays in implementing reforms and the full malfunction of institutions, the Group for Jury and Political Studies (GLPS) warned on Monday.
At a media conference, GLPS programme manager Emma Pula said June 30th marks the end of the last period that enabled Kosovo to avoid financial losses through the implementation of previous reforms.
Meanwhile, GLPS researcher Besar Gergi said that the lack of fully functional institutions has directly influenced the implementation of reforms, writes the KP. He said that following the publication of official reports by the Government of Kosovo and the European Union would reveal the extent of the benefit funds, endangered funds and reforms that have remained unfulfilled.
He added that considering current situation in Kosovo, G The LPS has some recommendations for improving and accelerating implementation of the reform agenda.
