(13 days ago)The offensive, deignive and lynching language towards Kosovo's sixth president, Vjosa Osmani, has already taken on disturbing proportions, disposing of serious life threats from individuals who in social networks are identified as supporters of the Vetevendosje Movement and Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
In two separate cases, through public posts on Facebook, an exile living in Germany and a citizen from Mitrovica have published messages with threatening content to Osman, Klakosova reported.
Lapjani Imer Abazi, who lives in Stuttgart, has placed in his account a picture of the banner, which reads “Death to traitors, Albanian Albin,”.
In SA, Becky Sylejmani from Mitrovica has published an even more serious comment, writing “Mass more that what you sell is a little lead to renot Albin with the people” -- a direct threat to the former president -- broadcasts Klanosova. tv
It remains to be seen whether security and justice institutions will act to provide security to Osman, following such threats.
