Counting of candidates' votes in 9 municipalities, CEC: The rating of the ballot package by the diaspora has started

The Central Election Commission has announced that nine Municipal Counting Centres have completed counting candidates' votes for MPs and verifying the results of the political subjects, while at the Counting and Results Centre, the process of ratings of parcels from voting via mail has begun.
According to the announcement, made Tuesday by CEC spokesman Valmir Elezi, these processes in nine municipalities have been completed by 1600.

According to him, the municipalities that have completed these activities are Yunik, Shrpca, Hani of Elez, Partesh, Mamusha, Zubin Potok, Zvecani, Klokotti and Novoberda. Meanwhile, the counting and verification process is continuing at 29 other municipal counting centres.

He also announced that after completing the count in municipalities, election materials are being sent to the Counting and Results Centre, where the scan of voter lists will begin.
“In the QNR will soon begin scanning the voter's list from regular polling from some of the municipalities that have already completed the KKN work and have delivered the election material to the Centre for Counting and Results. Scanning the voter's list that has been used at the polling site is necessary before starting with the vote counting from conditional polling, because it helps the CEC make sure that no one has voted twice, in the regular deployment and in the conditional vote of”, he said.
As far as voting from the diaspora is concerned, Elez said the process of withdrawing parcels from CEC mailboxes has been completed in 22 states and in Kosovo.
On Monday, June 8th, the package withdrawal process belonging to voting outside Kosovo has been completed, respectively. The withdrawal of the ballot package is made from CEC mailboxes in 22 different states, as well as from the CEC mailbox in Kosovo. Out of 23 mailboxes, more than 85700 alleged ballot packages have been withdrawn, a piece of which were brought to Kosovo”, he said.
According to Elez, the rating of these packages has already started at the Counting and Results Centre.
“this afternoon at the CEC's Counting and Results Centre, has started with the assessment of the alleged parcels of ballots outside Kosovo, respectively, by voting via mail that have so far been brought to Kosovo. The goal is to prove whether these packages were sent by registered voters to vote via mail. The approved wages will be included in the counting process, after several days”, he said.
According to CEC preliminary data, the largest number of packages drawn is from Berlin with 41,561 packages, followed by Berna with 23,356, Stockholm with 4,633 and Paris with 3,470 ballot packages. /Periscope
