CNN: Iran has closed uranium reserves and placed mines around objects

Iran has intensified efforts in recent weeks to secure and close property uranium reserves almost to the level needed for nuclear weapons.
According to U.S. intelligence sources, tunnels have been deliberately collapsed and the entrances have been mined with explosives, making access to material much more difficult and dangerous.
About half a ton of enriched uranium is believed to be blocked in these areas, while these measures have complicated even more American plans for its sequentification, which US President Donald Trump had previously talked about.
These developments are further complicating a possible US agreement on the delivery and destruction of nuclear material, reports the U.S. Can.
According to reports, Iran itself would have difficulty reaching material without specialized equipment and demining operations.
Part of the reserves are believed to be located in collapsed complexes in Isfahan, while the rest are located in different safe locations.
American officials have discussed an agreement where Iran would hand over uranium to destruction, but conditions remain unclear and questionable.
Experts warn that these measures could enable Iran to hide or make part of the nuclear material elusive.
Even if agreement is reached, the process of extracting and transporting uranium would be very complex and would require specialized technology.
According to estimates, such an operation would last at least a few weeks and would require international expert involvement.
