(3 hours ago)By the morning of Saturday, 46 of the 47 diplomatic representations have been counted, until the Counting and Results Centre is continuing the process of counting ballots belonging to the vote on diplomatic representation, which began on the afternoon of June 11th.
On June 6, 2026, the vote was held in 30 diplomatic representations in 18 different states. Out of 27,724 registered citizens have voted 22,860 or 82.46%. These ballot papers are in progress.
Also, on Friday evening at the Counting and Results Centre has started the process of counting the first ballots from voting outside Kosovo, respectively, by voting via mail, enabled in 23 CEC post boxes.
Zarfets, allegedly containing ballot papers, have been arranged in ballot boxes according to the municipalities where registered voters come from.
By the end of Friday in the evaluation process, over 60 thousand packages have been approved, 59,973, meanwhile, have been rejected. 2,244. The most obvious reason why these packages have been rejected is because, in 2,066 cases, a document with unique data is missing, which the registered voter accepts by the CEC.
The vote through mail has been enabled from 21 May to 6 June 2026, while the number of Kosovo citizens registered to vote through mail was about 105 thousand.
