He didn't react to the death of Sahit Jashar, Beram criticised Kurt: Unacceptable

Artan Behram has criticised incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti for his lack of a public reaction following the break-up of Sahit Jashar, commander, fellow fighter and close family member of Adem Jashar.
Through a statement, Behram said that until now Kurti has not expressed public condolences about Sahit Jashar's death, naming this as a lack of empathy and institutional respect to a figure that, according to him, directly relates to the history of Kosovo resistance and liberation war.
The curiosity to such an image is a lack of empathy and institutional respect. In the face of a major loss for a family carrying an important part of Kosovo's history, the failure to respond is unacceptable”, He declared Behram.
He stressed that Sahit Jashar was part of the national history of sacrifice, resistance and the struggle for freedom, adding that respect for his contribution should exceed political divisions.
Behram has also voiced criticism of the response of Presidential taskman Albulen Haxhiu, calling him cold. According to him, military degrees, war merits and historical burdens of Sahit Jashar's sacrifice have not been highlighted in the official response.
“Respect for those who contributed to the country's freedom should not be issues of political conviction, but a minimum of national memory and gratitude”, declared Behram.
