Bulgaria Bans Sending Weapons to Ukraine

Bulgaria's defence minister has announced that his country will no longer supply Ukraine with weapons.
This underscores the opposition of the new Bulgarian government to the support of the EU for Ukraine, the new prime minister, Rumen Radev, who won a deep victory in April, has been opposed to Ukraine's arming for years, calling instead for <x0) diplomatic resolution”.
“We have already made it clear that the war in Ukraine will not be resolved on the battlefield”, Defence Minister Dimitar Stojanov told reporters today, reports Skynews.
What we're looking at is a consumer war, and no matter how many weapons are collected, the only result is the loss of human lives”, Stojanov said until he added that Ukraine needs “more people, no more weapons”.
They have a lot of weapons, so we don't expect to supply any more weapons to the Ukrainian Army,” he claimed.
Bulgaria is not a major arms supplier for Ukraine, but the previous government had approved several military aid packages during the course of the war. /Periscope
