(14 days ago)The Kosovo Police's relevant units, in co-ordination with the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pec, Kosovo Tax Administration inspectors (ATK) and the Kosovo Customs Anti-Smuggle Unit, have carried out a search action on an object and on the vehicle of a suspect, become known in the 24-hour Kosovo Police Report.
During the raid, authorities have found and seized undeclared and suspected goods as smuggled. Among them are an iPad, 160 filler heads of Apple brand, 13 smart iPhone phones with different models, 13 phone phones of brands and models, and two smart Apple Watch hours. Also found were Samsung brand goods.
According to the customs officials' assessment, the value of seized goods amounts to about 30,000 euros.
After the interview, the suspect has been released at the order of the competent prosecutor, while the case has gone into regular procedure.
Authorities have announced that investigations into the case of smuggling goods will continue.
