Albanian Students Meet Eurodeputs, Discuss Albanian Language in Northern Macedonia

Two of the students from the initiative that the jurisdictional exam can be given in Albanian, Mvelan Ademi and liberation Iseni, have stayed for a visit to Busksel.
At the European helm, they have held a meeting with the Eurodeputs, Kathleen Van Brempt and Thijs Reuten, as well as with European Union Enlargement advisers Joeri Maas and Ine Goris.
In a Facebook report, Ademi has said that at the meeting it has been discussed for failing to implement constitutional law and rights related to the use of Albanian language in northern Macedonia, as well as the lack of full implementation of the Ohrid Agreement.
He stressed that it has been required that these issues be raised at the European Parliament and European Union institutions, aimed at addressing violations and delays in implementing constitutional obligations.
Ademi has also stressed that the position of Albanians in northern Macedonia should be addressed with priority, respecting their role as a statehood and significant factor in the development of the state.
For the demands of Albanian students, there have been protests in Skopje, Tirana and Pristina. /Periscope
