12th Day of Protests in Tirana, citizens call for Edi Rama's resignation

For the 12th consecutive days, starting at 18: 00 a.m., citizens gathered on the “Country Witnesses “in Tirana to protest Prime Minister Edi Rama's rule.
As in previous days, the rallying of protesters took place in “Square Skenderbej”, from where they then marched towards the government building, reports Euronews.al, broadcast Periscope.
The main demand of protesters remains the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and his government, while at gatherings, different citizens and activists are taking the word.
After staying in the square, protesters follow the column-shaped march in several Tirana excises, within what organisers have called “The Revolution of flamingos”.
For 12 days, protests have been held peacefully and no incidents have been reported, while today a smaller number of participants were noticed than in previous days.
A day earlier, supporters and former Democratic Party allies were joined.
Organisers have declared that protests will continue from 6pm each day to meeting their demands, including the annulment of laws that they claim are related to the environment, nature, and protected areas.
The protest closes daily with marching on the streets of Tirana, where the protest column extends up to about two kilometers. /Periscope
