(a month ago)Zana Spahiu, who had resigned from the position of deputy head-general of RTK's office, has been appointed to this position again today.
Spahiu was nominated to this position by nine votes in favour of the RTK Board, which has held the first meeting after 17 months.

The Kosovo Radio Television Board has held its first meeting after the election of new members.
The Kosovo Radio Television Board, which was dysfunctional, had continued the mandate of the chief general's task manager, Hysen Hondozi, whose mandate had ended in May 2025.
Hundoz was appointed.d. General Director of RTK in October 2024 by board RTK's with a six-month term.
RTK has been leading the director-general since June 2024.
Shkumbin Ahmetxekaj had submitted his resignation from the position of general director in 23.05.2024.
The Kosovo Assembly has elected in 24.04.26 members from the Albanian community of the RTK board, while those of non-party communities did not get enough votes for members of this board and the competition for them will be repeated.
Enough votes for board members from the ranks of the Albanian community received Valmira Thaqi (with a four-year mandate), Ferart Aliu (2 years), Guzim Braaj (2 years), Geraldina Crnobregug (3 years), Fatmir Podrimaj (4 years) and Ilirjan Himaj (3 years).
By December 2024, the board of RTK was dysfunctional because of the end of the mandate of some of the members, the resignation of some of them, and the inability to be elected in the Kosovo Assembly due to central elections and the political situation in the country.
Since December 2024, the board of RTK's lack of quorum has not held meetings since it was only the deputy chairman, Dardan Beqiri, and members Ilir Bytyqi and Radojica Mrdjinac.
