Trump: Let's not rush to deal with Iran, time is on our side

President Donald Trump said that the United States will not be pushing towards a “agreement with Iran, adding that the American blockade of Iranian ports will remain at “power and full effect” until an agreement is reached, CNN writes.
“Negotiations are being conducted fairly and constructively, and I have informed my representatives not to rush towards an agreement, because time is on our side”, Trump wrote in a post on social networks Sunday morning. “Both sides must take their time and do it properly. There can be no mistakes! Our relationship with Iran is becoming much more professional and productive”.
Trump reiterated that Iran must understand “that it cannot either develop or secure a Gun or Nuclear Bomb”.
This comes a day after Trump said an agreement between the United States and Iran is “essentially negotiated” and that the Hormuz Strait would reopen, signalling a possible moment towards the end of the war that has lasted for months. On Saturday, Trump added that the final details were still being settled, but that “would be announced soon”.
