Kosovo police for “Vidovdan” : 37 people have been prosecuted in court, called for provocatively with elements of inciting hatred

Kosovo police have indicated to have implemented increased security measures during Vidovdan's manifestations, aimed at preserving public order, managing traffic and ensuring development of activities without incident. According to police, operational planning has been realised in co-ordination between police units on the ground and justice institutions.
During the day, 37 people have been escorted to police stations for interviewing under suspicion of provocative calls with elements of fostering hatred, while a person has been fined for disrupting order and public calm.
After the completion of the activities, Kosovo Police have indicated that the situation has normalised, and participants have spread without incident.

Kosovo police manage the security situation and the management of activities during manifestations for {Vidovdan”

We inform you that in regard to the manifestations of “Vidovdan”, held today at 28.06.26, Kosovo Police have in time taken planning and operational measures to manage the security situation, preserve public order, orientation of road traffic and border management.
Police authorities have seen necessary planning, co-ordinating, preventing and operative measures in all departments and police regions so that manifestations in locations where they are meant to develop smoothly and without incident.
References to information from the engaged police units on the field has not been reported any case that has influenced the management of manifestations, in addition to the association of 37 people at the police station for interviewing, who have provoked the move with provocative appeals to elements of hate, contrary to legal provisions, and a person has been convicted of disrupting order and public calm.
All police actions are being carried out in co-operation and co-ordination with justice bodies, where after interviewing 37 people have been prosecuted in court and pending court verdict.
After completing afternoon activities, all participants have been scattered quietly.
