Trump clashes with Pope Leon X IV, Marco Rubio, visited the Vatican and Rome

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio is expected to pay an official visit to the Vatican and to Rome on May 7th and 8th, with the focus on reducing tensions related to the war in Iran.
Italian media record that Rubio will meet with Pope Leoni XIV and Cardinal Pietro Parrol.
While in Italy, he will also hold meetings with Foreign Minister Antonio Tayan and Defence Minister Guido Cronetto. A meeting with Prime Minister Giorgia Melon is not also exempt.
The visit aims to narrow the differences between the US and Vatican, as well as harmonise attitudes with the Italian government over the conflict in Iran.
