Kosovo prisoner arrested by Serbia 30 days

The Supreme Court in Serbia assigned 30 days of detention to Kosovo citizens Osman Selmani, arrested on 1 July by Serbia's police until they were returning to their homeland.
Serbia's Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that Selmani was arrested under suspicion of war crimes at the Mutioda border crossing, connecting Kosovo and Serbia.
“There are suspicions based on that 14,06.1999, in the country of Sophali, Pristina, in co-ordination with several KLA members, with cold weapons and firearms, in a cruel and insidious manner, has taken the lives of Serb national civilians, the Vdal couple Vdalmir and Persa Stanissavviq”, said at Serbia's MPB report.
Osman Selmani's family has described the accusations of Serbia's Prosecutor as groundless and false.
We believe in his innocence and will stay close to him until the complete dawn of the truth. We have faith that righteousness will prevail and truth will be revealed. We thank you from the heart for all support, prayer, and encouraging words in these difficult times for our family”, says the announcement of his family members.
In announcing the Serbian MPB, it was not accurately stated whether the suspect was part of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
In recent years, Serbia has repeatedly arrested Kosovo citizens under war crimes claims in Kosovo in 1998-99.
