(2 months ago)State police have suspended three senior Police Directors in Durres from duty, following the earlier serious accident, where two minors lost their lives and another wounded.
The decision was made by State Police Director General Skender Hita, who, in the implementation of the regulation, has argued suspensions of “poor performance in fulfilling” tasks.
The suspended are the director of the Durres Police Local Directorate, Africa Tafa; Deputy Director for Order and Public Security, Zija Sulaj; and Road Police Sector chief Kreshnik Skando.
“also, just after the event, the Director General of State Police ordered the Road Police Directorate to establish a group of experts who went to the scene to analyse the causes and circumstances of the” accident, the police report said.
