(2 months ago)Former Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has spoken of state symbolicness, political unity and Kosovo's reports with the West, criticising approaches that, according to him, promote divisions and departure from strategic allies.
Thaci in the exclusive interview at “Address” with Arben Ahmeti on Kanal 10, has stressed that citizens should not harbor fear or scepticism, adding that no one will physically affect the country and that Kosovo has potential for sustainable development and living.
I'm not skeptical. Far away from feeling scepticism or fear. No one will harm us physically, we will have plenty of food and drink... we will sing and weave verses across Kosovo”, he has declared.
However, Thaci has said the biggest danger for the country could be distance from Western support.
According to him, Kosovo should maintain and strengthen its strategic orientation towards the United States of America, the European Union and NATO.
