(2 months ago)The Kosovo Police Special Operations Unit forces (NJSO) are deployed in the evening hours in Skenderaj.

This deployment of special forces takes place after today's developments in Skenderaj, where the LVV branch head in Skenderaj, Hysni Mehan, and the activist of this party, Bahri Zabel, have claimed to have been physically attacked by the mayor of Komun, Sami Lushtaku and a group of people around him.
Mitrovica's prosecutor has reportedly interviewed suspected persons and witnesses, while Sami Lushtaku has not responded to the interview invitation.
According to the prosecution, two people were detained for 48 hours.
Meanwhile, Mehan and Zabel have received medical treatment.
