Spain publishes the World Championship list - Seven Soccerers From Barcelona, None of Real

Spain has published its list of 26 football players for the World Cup, while the announcement of the team selected by Louis de la Fuente was not made by it, but in a special way: the list was first discovered by Spain's King and Queen, while then Philip VI publicly read the names of players, presented by ordinary citizens from the streets.
The event was held at the Space Movistar in Gran Vía, Madrid, and was part of an organization run by Jesusús Navas, world champion in 2010. This moment marked the climax of a long process launched by De la Fuente in March 2023.
During this period, with 77 players tested before the finalisation of the list, Spain has won the European Championship and the League of Nations, and has been finalist in last year's League of Nations.
On an already consolidated team, without many surprises for key names such as Michael Merino, Nico Williams, and Lamine Yamal, attention was on specific positions, especially the doorman and the defense, reports Telegraph, broadcast Periscope
At the gate, the dilemma between Joan Garcia and Alex Remiro was solved in favor of Barcelona's goalkeeper. The involvement of Marc Pubil stands out, while Laporte and Cubarsí remain headmen. The fourth seat in the centre of defence has been given to Eric Garcia, returned to the nationals after the Qatar World Cup.
Another important decision was to replace the damaged Fermín, where Luis de la Fuente has chosen Jeremy Pino to cover the role between the midfield and the attack.
