US Secretary of State Marco Rubio arrives today in Rome for a meeting with Pope

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has arrived in Rome.

The plane landed at Cyampino Airport under strict security, writes Ansa.

The head of the State Department, responsible for US foreign policy, will be in the Vatican this morning and in Palazzo Chigi tomorrow.

Rubio is expected to meet with Pope Leo XIV today.
