Science marks new step against endometric cancer

A new treatment for endometric cancer has shown promising results in a Face 3, providing hope for patients with advanced or repeated diseases, according to “York Post”
The pharmaceutical company “Mrk” announced that the experimental drug “sacizumab tyrumothecan” (sa) c - TMT achieved the main objectives of the study, improving overall survival and time without progress in the disease compared to standard chemotherapy.
According to the company, global study “Tro Fuxe-005” is the first clinical test of Stage 3 that demonstrates statistically, significant survival improvements in patients with endometric cancer, following chemotherapy and immun therapy.
The new treatment belongs to the category of target therapy “combined antibody procedure” (ADC), which sends the drug directly to tumor cells by limiting the damage to healthy tissue.
The study included 776 patients, while the results showed clinically significant improvement in those who received sac - TMT compared with standard treatment selected by doctors.
Experts estimated that this study could fill an urgent need for new treatment options, at a time when cases and mortality from endometric cancer are on the rise at a global level.
The study was conducted under the global clinical test of Face 3 “Tro fuse-005”, co-ordinated by pharmaceutical company “Mrk” in collaboration with Chinese company “Kelun-Biotech”.
