During Tuesday, the coalition has been formalised between the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) in Pristina.
This coalition also brought numerous political reactions, even by the LDK itself, it was said they were unaware of the issue.
He is the first of Pristina, Progress Rama, who has reacted to the issue a few minutes ago.
According to Rama, the coalition with the PDK has been made for the good of the people, the citizens of Pristina.
Rama has even said it opposes political divisions and that the citizen should be put first, not political and party interests.
“Citizens don't live in parties, live in a common community, so they're the responsibility of the UNSKS. Their needs are not political interpretation issues, but the obligation for concrete solutions immediately. I'm against any divisive rhetoric. We are a POPL. One STAT. Therefore, common vision, stability, and responsible institutional action are needed by each of us. By placing the citizen in the centre and being aware that power is a service, not a blocking instrument, we have finalised co-governance in the capital with the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), the Social Democrat Initiative, the League for Pristina and recently with the Democratic Party of Kosovo(PDK). In this context, appointments by the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) have been made to confirm proposals coming from”Colegium” composed of the five branches of Pristina, a mechanism founded by the LDK itself, which guarantees internal representation, balance and legitimacy. In parallel, representatives of our partners from the AAK, Initiative, League for Pristina and PDK have also been appointed, reflecting a comprehensive and functional approach. The capital is an example of co-operation and development, and thus will remain”, Rama wrote among other things.
Full response:
Governance is, basically, the responsibility for the citizen.
Therefore, our moral and political obligation is clear: to offer government that serves citizens with responsibility, co-operation and mutual respect.
Politics should be, not purpose in itself, but a means to realize public good - for the citizen.
Today, Pristina faces an important historical and developmental moment. With major projects awaiting us, including preparations for the Mediterranean Games, we are building not only modern infrastructure, but we are building the identity and perspective of a European capital, functional and competitive.
These processes require institutional stability, co-operation and responsible decision-making.
In a democratic order, differences are natural and legitimate. But political maturity is measured by the ability to overcome them in the function of common interest.

The capital is an example of co-operation and development and will remain so!
I express particular gratitude to the directors who have been granted a mandate for their precious professionalism and contribution to the city's service. While new directors wish them great success and responsibility in the tasks they take over.
Just as I have unconditionally supported the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) in past elections, it will support it in these elections, with the conviction that democracy, institutional stability and state-run culture must be protected and constantly strengthened. The responsibility, order, development and service to the citizen, no divisive rhetoric, but with clear vision of the future, that's the philosophy of the right!
Kosovo needs no more crisis and polarisation, but for functional institutions, co-operation and development vision. Because real leadership is not measured by the ability to create tension, but by the ability to unite people, to build institutional stability, and to move the country forward. /Periscope
