Rama: EU not having better days, but Albania depends on it

Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama, in an interview given to the Estonian Postimes media during the Lennart Mere conference, said Europe is not spending the best days, but that for Albania it remains attractive and that it is hanged by it, Periscope broadcasts.
For Albania, the EU is extremely attractive and we are dependent on it, and unlike other countries around us, we do not have other potential plans and do not want other possible plans. And we don't have allies or other big partners. We only have the EU. So it's very clear why we want to be part of the EU, but at the same time, I think it's very clear not only for me, but for many people that Europe is not spending the best days now"Rama said among other things Post Lists.
"Europe cannot delegate its existence and position in the world", Rama said further.
Rama has also talked about the EU enlargement process. He was asked if yours is realistic in 2030 for Albania's membership.
I think so. He's realistic right now. But that was not the case until the attack on Ukraine. And that can change. But for now, yes, it is realistic", Rama said. /Periscopi
