Postponing Freedomrs' Decision in The Hague, O VL-KLA sends appeals letter to friendly embassies

The KLA War Veterans' Organisation has announced public opinion that today, officially, it has been addressed to the friendly embassies in Kosovo with an appeal letter following the decision to postpone the verdict on former KLA leaders in The Hague.
O V L-KLA emphasises that this appeals letter has been sent for the purpose of maintaining confidence in international justice.
Legal arguments are exhausted. What remains is the moral and institutional burden of a decision, whose effects extend beyond individuals, affecting the credibility of international justice in our country. Our liberation war was right. She was born of necessity, by the right of a people to live free in his land. This effort cannot be simplified in a cool procedure interpretation. It was a devotion to human freedom and dignity in the face of systematic oppression, a stand for democratic values when there was no other way left. Any conclusion that does not reflect this historical reality correctly risks its distortion. This deepens unfair perceptions. It hurts the civic conscience of those who faced that era and raised this state above what they gave, says OVL-KLA's letter to friendly embassys.

I/Your Honor Ambassador,
While Kosovo awaits the final decision to be made by the Special Court, we address our international friends and partners on behalf of thousands of veterans and citizens whose faith we carry with full responsibility.
This hurts the civic conscience of those who faced that era and raised this country above what they gave.
We remain convinced that the final act will seriously reflect historical truth. Peace and stability in Kosovo cannot be separated from the citizens' belief that justice is impartial and reliable. Kosovo has testified, consistently and unreservedly, its commitment to international co-operation and the fulfillment of its obligations.
Hence, the final decision should strengthen faith rather than weaken it, preserve stability, and not violate it. It should advance the partnership between Kosovo and the international community on the basis of mutual respect. Such a decision should stand in harmony with the foundations of our freedom and citizenship - secured through sacrifice, protected through loyalty to national interest, kept alive by the determination of a lyrical people.
Respectfully, O VL KLA.
