The plane, with a passenger infected with hantavirus, lands in Amsterdam, is immediately transferred to the hospital

A plane carrying a passenger from a confirmed ship of hantavirus landed in Amsterdam tonight, an AFP journalist reported.
The specially configured air ambulance left Prague in Cape Green and landed at Amsterdam-Schipphol Airport at 20:47.
There is currently no official information on how the patient will leave the airport. However, Leiden University Medical Centre (LUMC) said her doctors were preparing to take the patient from the tourist ship and that “all precautions have been taken to avoid transmission” of the disease.
The hospital also assured patients there that they were not at any risk.
The fire service in Düsseldorf, western Germany, said earlier that an asimtomatic passenger who had fallen into close contact with a confirmed case of the virus would be transferred to the hospital.
The second air ambulance with the destination Netherlands was lowered earlier for technical reasons in the Canary Islands. According to the Spanish Health Ministry, another plane will have to be sent to get the two patients on board.
