(a month ago)The Central Election Commission has announced that periods for changing the polling Centre within the municipality for the June 7th elections have begun.
It becomes known that during this 12-day period, from today to May 17th, citizens will rightly be able to learn their own polling centre and if they want to change it within their municipality,
“During this 12-day period (6 May 17th May 2025), citizens will rightly be able to learn their voting centre and if they want to change it within their municipality, set as close as possible in their municipality:
- through the CEC's electronic platform: https://qv.kqz-x.org or
- submitting application to the Municipal Election Commission in the municipality where the voter” is registered.
The CEC simultaneously explains that the change of the polling centre from one municipality to another is not directly possible by the CEC, but this is related to the official citizens/voters' address declaration.
“Beyond the CEC, the voter, if he wants to change the polling centre only within the municipality, but to move from a municipality polling centre to the polling centre in another municipality, the voter must change the official address of residence in the Civil State Office or the E-Kosovo platform.
Changes, which will take place from May 6th to May 17, 2026, will be reflected on the CEC's electronic platform https://qv.kqz-x.org since this period”, says the notice
