Vjosa Osmani's return to the Democratic League of Kosovo has already been confirmed by the leader of this party, Lumir Abdixhiku, who announced that Osman is again part of the LDK and is expected to be the candidate of this party for president.
Regarding this development, Periscopi has contacted analyst Halil Matoshi, who sees this return as a movement that can significantly affect political balances and reports between the opposition and current power.
According to Matosit, the LDK enters the race with a strong advantage in the face of Vetevendosje Movement and Prime Minister Albin Kurti, viewing Osman as a key figure that could change the course of elections.

Furthermore, he adds that the clash between Osman and Kurti could have a direct impact on the electorates and on future strategies of opposition parties.

Kurti's battle consisted of eliminating it from the presidency even for a mandate proved successful, but it has the motive to fight it in the elections by removing the Vetevendosje Movement up to 10% of the electorate that once voted the LDK. The strategy of opposition political groups consists of a single race, but eventually it can unite to get Kurt out of power. In that spirit I also see coalicin with PDK in Pristina”, Matosh said.
Osmani, who failed to be elected president for a second term in the absence of support in the Assembly after his mandate ended in April, has decided to be part of the election race in June.
This development marks an important turn on the political scene, signalling the construction of a new co-operation axis and a co-ordinated approach to taking over key institutions in the country.
