Oil Price Regained in Albania

The Transparency Board has again raised the price of fuel in the country.
According to the Board's announcement, the price of oil has increased by 4 leks, from 198 leks/litre to 202 leks/liter. Price growth has also marked gasoline, which will be traded at 3m more per litre, specifically from 185 m/litre to 188 lek/liter.
Prices set by the Board meeting will take effect today at 1: 00 p.m., reports TCh, broadcast Periscope
Decisions:
The price of retail by - product by Biloil standard S US 590 to be no more than 202 lek/litre, while the majority sale is no more than 190 leks per liter.
Price of retail of fuel byproduct of standard S The US is no more than 188 lek/liter, while the majority sale is no more than $16.6.
Prices set by the Board will come into force today by 16 o'clock and will be valid until the next board meeting, reflecting the sales price changes.
We draw the attention of every retail operator in large and minority oil by products on the obligation to implement this decision.
In the event of violations filed by various operators, suspension of activity will be imposed.
The Ministry of Economy and Innovation together with the Finance Ministry and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy have committed themselves to protecting the interests of Albanian consumers and maintaining the principles of fair competition in the market.
SQARIM: Reference to Normative Act No. 1, Date 3.4.2026 “for an addition to law No. 61/2012, “For excises in the Republic of Albania,”, where it is predicted, that if the retail price, for the gasoline, is higher than 220 lek/litre, or for gasoline is higher than 200 lek/litre, an 80% excise level is implemented. Based on implementation of methodology for calculating the price ceiling of retail by minorities, prices are below the limit of the Normative Act No. 1, the date 3.4.26, and therefore the excise level will be fully implemented, 100%. /Periscope/
